Building Approvals

The standard Contract DOES NOT give you any rights to terminate the Contract if any structures on the land are not Council approved or have not had their final inspection, including the house.

If you have any concerns about building approvals, you should contact us immediately prior to signing the Contract to arrange for a special condition to be included giving you the option to terminate the Contract if any of the structures do not have Council approval.  We can then arrange the necessary search.

Sometimes, a structure has been given Council approval but no final inspection conducted.  This can normally be rectified in a few days by the Seller arranging a final inspection and lodging the documentation with the local council.
