Paul is the principal and owner of the firm, having purchased the practice after Denis Carroll retired in August 2009.
Paul was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in December 2005.
His first employment in the legal profession was with Queensland Law Group in Brisbane, where he worked mainly in the areas of Personal Injuries and Criminal Law.
After two years, he commenced employment with McNamara Garrahy (later Law Essentials) where he was employed to open and operate the Kingaroy branch of that firm. He practised in most areas of law but primarily in the area of Personal Injuries, Civil Litigation and Commercial Law.
Paul then resigned from McNamara Garrahy after purchasing JA Carroll & Son, Solicitors, from Denis Carroll.
Maintaining the firm's reputation for client care and service built on decades of looking after the people of the South Burnett is the key focus for Paul.
As well as the existing areas of practice, Paul now adds his experience and knowledge in all areas of Personal Injuries, Civil Litigation and Commercial Law to the practice.
Prior to becoming a Solicitor, Paul worked for many years for Centrelink, primarily conducting fraud investigation focusing mainly on identity fraud and criminal offences committed by people against Centrelink.
Paul has a number of qualifications for investigation work and also worked closely with the Australian Federal Police and the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.
This gave Paul a well established grounding for his role as a Solicitor after he was admitted in 2005, especially in relation to his work with Civil Litigation and Personal Injuries.
Since arriving in Kingaroy in November 2007, Paul has established himself in the community, such as becoming an active member of the Taabinga Rotary Club, and recently becoming a committee member of South Burnett Job Match.
