PAUL LAURENTIUSSEN – SOLICITOR
Paul is the Principal of the firm having been a co-owner for 11 years. Paul previously worked in Brisbane and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience and works mainly in the areas of:
- Family Law (property and children);
- Estate Planning (including farm succession planning, planning for Family Trusts);
- Business Conveyancing;
- Conveyancing for commercial properties;
- Personal Injuries for motor vehicle accidents and work place accidents;
- Civil Litigation.
Paul is heavily involved in the South Burnett community and is currently on the Board of Management of SBcare, the largest locally based provider of services for aged people and people with disabilities, as well as a board member of South Burnett Community Enterprises, which owns the Bendigo Bank branches in the South Burnett and in which most of the profits go back into local community organisations.
Paul’s qualifications are a Bachelor of Laws (2004), Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (2005), Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland (2005) of Queensland, Solicitor of the High Court of Australia (2010) and Justice of the Peace.
Paul is at our Murgon office on Fridays and every second Tuesday and is in our Kingaroy office on all other days.
MARK WERNER – SOLICITOR
Mark has been with firm for a number of years and practices in the area Criminal Law and Protection Orders (also known as Domestic Violence Orders).
Mark’s has many years experience in Criminal Law having had matters before the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts.
Mark and Paul previously worked together for a firm in Brisbane and together they have a unique understanding of each others knowledge and can rely on each other for the benefit of our clients.
Mark is based at our Kingaroy office but visits the Murgon office on a weekly basis to meet with clients.
PRIM LAURENTIUSSEN – CO-OWNER
Prim is the other co-owner of the firm and is currently working with the Conveyancing Team and well as assisting with the administration of the Firm.
Prim is based at the Kingaroy office.
NICOLE PITE – PARALEGAL
Nicole has been with the firm for over 10 years and is currently working as a Paralegal to Mark working in Criminal Law.
Nicole has also worked in the areas of Estate Administration, the drafting of Wills & EPAs as well as Conveyancing.
Nicole is based at our Kingaroy office.
TRACEY GRISSELL – CONVEYANCING CLERK
Tracey is our most recent addition to our firm and comes with extension work experience in other law firms, including 8 years with Gadens Lawyers.
Tracey is based at our Kingaroy office.
SUZANNE PERRETT – CONVEYANCING CLERK
After 11 years with our firm, Suzanne has decided that it is the time to seek new adventures and will be leaving our firm on 11 September 2020.

MARISSA MURRAY – CONVEYANCING CLERK
Marissa has been with our firm for over several years and currently works in the area of conveyancing of residential and commercial properties.
Marissa is based at our Kingaroy office.
AMY MOORE – PRACTICE MANAGER
Amy has been with our firm for over 7 years.
Amy is the manager of the Firm and does everything from the financial administration to staffing and everything in between.
Amy is based at our Kingaroy office.
EMMA BARBELER – MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT
Emma has lived in the South Burnett all her life.
Emma is based at our Kingaroy office where she will assist Amy to run the legal practice.
TRACY ALLAN – LAW CLERK
Tracy was a long time employee of South Burnett Lawyers and has continued her employment with our firm.
Tracy first commenced working in the legal industry in 1995 and brings extensive knowledge in a number of areas of law.
Tracy is based at our Murgon office.
LEIGH SHERIDAN – LAW CLERK
Leigh was a long time employee of South Burnett Lawyers and has continued her employment with our firm.
Leigh is based at our Nanango office.
LARA HODSON – LAW CLERK
Lara has lived in the South Burnett all her life.
She is currently working as the Personal Assistant for Paul and is currently studying to obtain her Diploma as a Paralegal.
CASSIDY YAPPA – RECEPTIONIST
Cassidy is the most recent addition to our firm and is employed as the receptionist at our Kingaroy office.
Cassidy will usually be the first person our clients will greet when they telephone our office or walk through the door.
ELVIE – PUPPY RELATIONS
Elvie is a Chihuahua – Mini Fox Terrier cross who is adored by both staff and clients.
Elvie spends her time at the Kingaroy office.
